After leaving Design College, Ann designed for some of the UK’s largest companies for over 30 years, working in Hong Kong, Paris, Japan & Florence, before starting her own individual design business:  special occasions, weddings and Authors promotional book tours etc.

In the 1960s she designed the UK’s first successful Fun Furs range, Honor Blackman’s black leather Catsuit for The Avengers and both Barbara Murray (of  TV series The Power Game) and Cathy McGowan’s (of Ready, Steady Go) massively successful mail order collections. Her silk paintings in metallic silvers and greys were commissioned by The Glasshouse chain.

Her ombre shaded velvet & silk scarves are beautiful and totally unique, with prices dependent on how many colours used.  From £20 for silk chiffon, £45 for Devore and £50 for silk velvet.  Bespoke glamorous silk velvet outfits can be made - please contact for more information.

Ann is also passionate on natural dyes, and has co-written a booklet with  Mike Denny on plants used for Healing & Dyeing.
